    Laxman Jhula is a moving bridge that connects Uttarakhand and Pauri districts. The history of this bridge dates back to the time of the Ramayana period. It is said that Lakshman crossed the Ganges river from this jute bridge. Centuries later, a 284-foot-long bridge was rebuilt at the same site and when it was swept away by the 1924 floods, a suspension bridge was built here. Ram Jhula is another bridge from which the view of the city is beautiful.
